With the warmth and beauty of plants and blossoms in our greenhouses, visiting here has been likened to entering an Oasis!!! This became the foundation for the creation of our name, Otto’s Oasis. We are proud to offer the finest and largest selection of plants for your garden and landscaping needs. Variety, color and fragrance all make the journey to Otto's a wonderful and memorable experience- one which leaves you with an impression of what paradise can be!
Our greenhouses are open year round, with all of the plants grown in our own facility- maintained and cared for to offer the finest quality available.
Shortly after the Valentine’s Day rush in the floral shop, planting begins in the greenhouse for the spring and summer seasons. Otto’s offers customers refreshing glimpses of color while snow still blankets the ground. We strive to offer not only the largest selection of annuals, perennials, shrubbery, roses, trees and water plants to our customers, but also the highest quality. It is always a treasured experience to load everyone up in the family ‘truckster’ and make the journey to Otto's Oasis to plan your gardening endeavors for the year.
As summer wind down, the focus out in the greenhouse turns to Autumn and Christmas. The scene throughout the greenhouse changes: from lush hanging baskets, colorful annuals, and hearty perennials to the rich tones of garden mums, pumpkins and gourds, accented with the autumnal feel of straw and corn stalks. Starting in mid-July, planting of the poinsettias begins. It takes a lot of light to start the process for these lovely Christmas blossoms to be ready for the holiday season.
Then it turns to ‘the most wonderful time of year’, as Andy Williams so beautifully sings. The twinkling lights, glittery décor, crisp evergreen and, yes, those beautiful poinsettias. The season wouldn’t be complete without a vibrant poinsettia adorning the home or office for the holidays. Our professional staff meticulously maintains our crop so that our customers receive the very best quality.
Once the celebrations of the Christmas season end, we bring in New Year. The cycle begins again and planning gets underway to find what’s new and exciting for the growing season ahead.
